David Choe’s photos of bands are fantastic! I see a lot of people dragging the shutter and creating swirls of color these days, but he was taking photos like that at the Funhouse almost 20 years ago. But my favorite photos of his are all the ones he took around Capitol Hill of all the neighborhood regulars. Those photos are a treasure and we are lucky he shared them with us. And as a vocalist, David turned any band he was in into a force of nature. I miss seeing him around Seattle, but I know I can always find him in Portland. Probably anywhere there is a dog or cat to pet.
