So listen, here is Alberto as “M o n o”

I wanted to make a pro storytelling but I’m not skilled enough. Anyway here is the main idea.

My dear Alberto also know as “Mono” that is because no one really knows his name, he is always seen alone in an island near Pale City were his family used to lived. They were relegated to that island because of Alberto, he has a “condition” that turns him into a seamonster whenever he gets wet. This is a ‘born with condition’ so this was the reason why they didn’t wanted him with them. They were obligated to stay in an old tower. When Alberto was very little he was abandoned by his parents in a really hostile forest, all they gave him was a paper bag so he could use it as a mask and hide from people who knew what he really was. They though he was going to be killed within days, but this didn’t happened. Alberto made his own way in the forest by helping another abandoned children, who later they would also abandon him because they would get scared of him and his impulsive behavior, also the paper bag was not reliable aspect. The scars all over his body are from all the times that people or hunters would try to kill him but failed.

Alberto has no knowledge with any kind of events outside of the forest, but he would notice it became darker, sinister and even more unsettling. His loneliness would change when wandering in the forest he finds an unknown house with a very dark ambience. He would also notice lots of televisions were about everywhere, he was curious about them and he was feeling some kind of attraction, but couldn’t explain why. So being the curious cat that he is, he gets inside the house. When getting near to the cellar, hears music coming from a room with a broken door. An axe is near so he makes his entrance with it, finding a kid, who's playing with a music box, scared of his violent way to enter the room but fearsly reaching to Alberto’s hand when he offers it. This kid’s need to scape makes him run desperately and pushes Alberto aside to get out of the room and from the house as soon as possible because, whoever locked him there, is gonna go after him.

This was probably asked a while ago since I already incorporated it into the story, but yes! I love the headcanon that Alberto does a bunch of odd jobs around the town outside of helping Massimo so he could pay Luca's school tuition. Given the time period, I'd assume it wouldn't be all that much money, so I don't think Alberto would need to work insane hours to accomplish this.
