I wasn't the LuaW anon but seeing your post about them inspired me. LuaW is easily one of my favorite fics. And I understand if you've lost interest in it, like I totally get that. And if you never want to work on it again, that's fine. But please keep writing! I really love your work.

Howdy! I’m really glad to hear that you’re enjoying the fic.

It isn’t so much that I’ve lost interest in it, but rather that burnout and life hit me pretty hard at the same time. The fandom got pretty upsetting for a while and I had to take a big step backwards, which broke my updating schedule. On top of that, I got a new full time job over the summer and took on some pretty intense costuming projects, which ate up most of my time. I DO intend to finish the fic, but I have no idea when that’ll actually happen. I guess I’ll just keep plugging away at it and we’ll see!

Hello! I found you fiction Look up and Wonder one week ago and I wanted to say it is the BEST THING EVER. I hate reading, i really do, and that is why i prefer to read mangas, the drawings and picturea help me. But your writing... your story... it makes me "look up and wonder" how you can write so well. I've been reading with my friends and we are obsessed. It's the only thing we talk about now. Are you planning on finishing it! It is awesome and ot would be a shame to just leave it there! ❤

I know you've lost a lot of steam (interest? drive?) on LUaW, but I wanted to tell you-- I appreciate that you're still going. I've been following it for a long time, and as a huge fan of Firefly and McHanzo, it's one of my favourite longfics to date. You breathe so much life into both fandoms it's like reading a love letter to them with every chapter. LUaW destroys me from the inside out and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank-you.

Honestly, it’s mostly been physical and mental health that’s affected my steam more than anything. I caught a terrible case of bronchitis that I’m still trying to shake and being unemployed has hit me pretty hard. I’m really glad that you’re still invested in the fic, even with as erratic as it is. I’m hoping that I get a job soon and get healthy so I can get back to writing more. I'm honestly losing my goddamn mind I just spent all night from 12 am to 8 am reading Look Up and Wonder and jesus I feel like my life is fundamentally changed forever? Like fuck you that fic ruined my life?? I can't read another fic again they're all going to pale in comparison. And then I find out that I already follow you on Tumblr for your art so double fuck you you multitalented god of a human? Are you even human? I'm crying and emotional I'll leave a comment on ao3 when I calm down never😂

Part 2. But seriously how are you so artistically skilled AND such a fucking good writer?? That plot twist got me so shook I was near hyperventilating christ my dude you're murdering everyone. To think I never started this fic for so long because I never watched firefly, god I was a fool and now I'm an even bigger fool for having read it all, im floating in post-fic shock it was so good I have no other way than to aggressively compliment you you fucking madman

Honestly, this fic began as a guilty pleasure that combined two things I really enjoyed and I never expected it to catch on like it has. I wanted it to be approachable for both Firefly and Overwatch fans, even if they had never touched the other part of the crossover. It seems to have worked! (Also the multiply hobbies thing is more a result of me having the attention span of a squirrel, so I have to have lots of things to work on!)

I’m glad you like (or maybe like isn’t the right word...) the fic and I hope you get a kick out of the next couple of updates as well! It’s going to be a lot of fun.

Hey, just dropping in to let you know that you did amazing on chapter 26, it was spectacular, like seriously! It sent me through a roller coaster of hope, mystery, despair, and curiosity. This chapter was well worth the wait, and I'm excited to read the next one (totally at your own pace, self care before this please). Your just such a good writer it makes me wanna scream how much I enjoy your style. Also I was totally wrong about the source of his MPD, but I am totally digging it. Good tidings.

I’m really glad you enjoyed it! I’m sorry that it took me so long to write, I’m afraid that I hit a serious wall and had to take a couple steps backwards to climb over it. I guess that’s how things go! Hopefully the next update won’t take nearly as long - I’m looking forward to it and the ones that follow. Lots of adventure and excitement still to come! i just binge read LUaW and. i am thoroughly amazed by your storytelling skills. I dont know anything about Firefly but your fic has made me want to watch it. Also: as painful as the past few chapters have been, I am so delighted that you are writing this atypically. I suffer from PTSD and holy cow that Gunslinger mode version of McCree had me Feeling Some Type Of Way. Youre phenomenal and i look forward to seeing how you develop the story. 💕

Ahhhm, thank you so much! My fic doesn’t have very much tie in to the Firefly series yet (mostly scenery and reavers) but I’m hoping to have a much bigger part for it to play soon now that things are getting serious.

I’m also really glad that you connected with how I write Jesse. It’s been a bit of a struggle for me trying to portray him in the way I know that he needs to be based on his backstory and it’s taken its toll on me emotionally and mentally. I hope once some more of his background is revealed people will understand why he is the way he is, but until then I’m really glad that you like it. I appreciate the support. <3
