How do you explain, to an immortal to whom time is but a slow moving obstacle, the grief of running out of time you didn’t know had a limit? How do you tell her, to prioritise her time and choices? She had never had children, let alone one so fragile and… mortal.

What would you have said, to have her understand? Are there any words, to encompass the loss, the ache, of death? A child is something no parent should ever bury, and neither Hylia nor her sister got the chance to even do that.
