How did Daruk react to seeing Shade for the first time? With his dog phobia and all
He was...startled
Honestly, he had heard/seen that there was a big wolf that followed the hero around, but it still threw him off. Luckily, if there's one thing that Wild was happy to talk(?) about at that time it was his best friend in the entire world and he definitely encouraged Daruk to try making friends as well. After all, Shade is very much like a person in many ways.
Daruk never really got used to Shade, but he appreciates what the big dog does for their little guy.
