2. What is your character’s alignment?

I'd say probably Neutral Good. Callum is a good guy. Being a good person is something that's important to him. I think there are a lot of things that fall into sort of moral gray area for him because as far as he's concerned they're only wrong to do in specific circumstances, and ultimately he's looking out for him and his. He will snag every unattended shiny thing he sees. He punches the First Warden in the face because he won't listen, and Callum has run out of patience for him. He will stop and pet every single cat and dog in the city, and puts money in the plate of every beggar and busker he comes across.

18. What would your Rook be doing if they weren’t recruited by Varric?

Callum's a Lord of Fortune. He likes being a Lord of Fortune. He's on good terms with the Lords. He's an accomplished weather mage. He'd be on a ship doing ethical pirate shit lol

15. A movie ruined by the ending I recently watched this lesser known Ginger Rogers movie, Lady in the Dark (1944, Mitchell Leisen), and even though you can see the ending coming from a mile away it is so much worse once it finally happens than you expected it to be. And it's such a pity because the rest of the movie is really strange and interesting.

I haven’t stumbled over one but I’d thought about trying to find one. I’m always so amazed whenever anybody is interested in my ramblings about him 🥹

30. When it comes to the arts (music, film, theater, etc), what does your character like?

Jackson is a fan of the arts in general. He loves beautiful things in all their forms. But first and foremost, he loves music. He is a musician (a drummer), and he's studied a lot of music theory in his free time, and one of his favorite things to do is to analyze songs and how they've been created to evoke particular feelings, etc.

39. When people look at your character, is there some assumption they might make about them just by appearance? Is that assumption correct?

I think probably the biggest thing is that Jackson gets underestimated a lot physically. Like, no one looks at the 5'6" wiry bean pole of a twink and thinks "oh that guy can for sure solo a krogan". But he can, in fact, solo a krogan. Not in a straightforward fight, of course. But, you know, he's a spy. He rarely does straightforward fights.
