Being a surgery resident didn’t give Sungyeol a lot of free time to do what he’s always really liked but that never really stopped him. In school, his papers and homework was always covered in various designs and doodles often drawing the ire of some teachers. At work now, his coworkers could tell that it was his handiwork by the many designs and elaborate doodles all over the charts, with mini characters pointing out various things. Honestly, it was a shocker to most that the young man was a surgery resident, but it was his natural sunny disposition that contrasted the depressing shit that they saw everyday.Â
As a side hobby, Sungyeol had been given the suggestion that he should open custom commissions online. So, of course, that’s what he ended up doing. It had been a surprising endeavor for him since he hadn’t expected the response that he got but he’d ended up posting examples of his drawings and had gotten some minor commissions to draw paintings for kids and stuff, but his current commission which had been requested a few days ago would be one of his biggest.Â
On his afternoon off, he’d decided that would be the ideal time to meet his comissionee so that he could get an idea of the work and he’d messaged the other letting the other know the details, and so on his afternoon off, sungyeol made his way to the university. He stared at the university gates with a slightly nervous look before heading inside. “Right, the marine department and Professor Heather Rhodes...” he mumbled under his breath, as he made his way to the other’s office. He knocked on the door quietly with a grin. “Professor?” he announced himself.Â
