oh man, unlimited funds? Talia is buying out entire stocks of metal, glass and cabling, renting out a workshop and going wild. she has a bunch of blueprints ready that she can't work on on the ship because they can't have that type of heavy equipment
this results in so many explosions, property damage, (a couple of scams), and then obviously resisting arrest, assault of (multiple) public officers and idk the legal term but breaking the fuck out of jail
Ester is taking care of the ship first and foremost. buying new, high quality sails, ropes and planks for future repairs, plus polish and resin. then new updated maps, information on trade routes and pirate coves, stocks of preserved meat, fruit, spices and new pans for the cook. she's taking their hacker to repair his command console, getting better weapons, new cannon balls, some lightweight leather armor, stocking up on materials for the medic and the mage and buying everyone a night out at the tavern. the night out at the tavern is interrupted to go break Talia out of jail and them they have to rapidly get the fuck out of the port
