SpokeIsHere aka Spoke is a YouTuber who plays on both Unstable Universe (a scripted server) and Lifesteal (Minecraft's deadliest SMP). look at him! he's so sweet and adorable and also the scariest little guy to have around on your smp!

bro is a master manipulator to rival goodtimeswithscar and one of the biggest exploiters on Lifesteal, often playing the villain and breaking the game

this includes but isn't limited to! the Wormhole, aka one of the biggest manipulation plots i've ever seen spanning several months of scamming the Lifesteal server owner and tricking him into giving him OP while he was like fucking 15 hello, or his first arc in UU where he used every past exploit in the game to give himself whatever he wanted, which spiralled into every single plot we see today which is absolutely insane to think about,,,,

i cannot explain to you how insane his whole character in unstable is. he is the KING of being misunderstood, where most of the fandom disregarded his pov for being childish and boring instead of the carefully crafted plot of soul-crushing guilt and self-destruction it actually was

he's the king of silly (pls watch the Poopies video istg it's better than you think) and the king of heartbreak (i cried during the mafia arc and i cried again because of Mapicc) and every video of his is better than the last, and i'm lowkey scared because his latest video was INSANE and he said his next one is BETTER

No offense to the op of course, but it’s still very much an issue if you’re crossing boundaries even if the cc doesn’t see it. Crossing boundaries can blur them, especially when not called out on it, and even if the cc doesn’t see it, fans will. And there are a ton of people who would see whatever it is that’s crossing the boundaries without knowing what those boundaries are, and they can accidentally spread it as misinformation that the cc is okay with XX because it’s out there. It can snowball into a whole thing, especially on the internet, and then whenever the cc does find out about it (because you know they will at some point, it’s the internet) it’s going to upset them way more than the initial crossing of that line would. ccs are people too, and if you cross their boundaries -even in fanwork, even if they don’t see it- it can spiral into a world of hurt quickly. How would you like it if you found out someone had crossed one of your boundaries? Not good, right? You’d feel betrayed, like you can’t trust people anymore. That’s how they feel when it happens too.

And, the op also made it a point to specifically say that if the ccs don’t want their boundaries crossed in front of them, they should stay off of things like ao3 and basically just in general away from their fanbase. Which is not okay. Yeah, “don’t like don’t read” is a thing, but that’s completely bypassed when you break their trust in the first place. ccs should be able to interact with their fanbase without having to tiptoe around what the less respectful ones do. Again, they’re people too. No one should be able to tell them what to do.

Anyway, I just needed to address this because it really isn’t okay that this goes out unanswered. And no it wasn’t a post originally on tumblr, but a tumblr user made a post about it talking about how the op wouldn’t get harassed if they posted it on tumblr. They did not discredit anything in the post, and even put screenshots of the post in theirs. Also not okay. Don’t spread stuff like that please guys, especially on the internet. It’ll end badly.
