Hello Dr Lowhoof what exactly is the orb? I know you mentioned it was something but how is it that exactly?
The orb is a device of magic and machinery together. Despite its simple shape, its filled with an old, powerful magic. That's the reason why it can move so... freely... than other enchanted items.
Unfortunately, the creator's blueprints are gone. Just like he is. So, I can't really have all the answers to how it works. All I know is that this thing is exactly what I needed and that I'm happy to have found it.

The Astronomer.
The protagonist of the first story, one that shares the same title. An Insomniac that's constantly searching the stars for answers. To what questions? Well, to be honest, he doesn't really know that himself.

It's officially one year since I've started working on this ask blog. How time flies in such a little time. I wanted to do a little something for the occasion. So, this is what I came up with.
So, here's Mandrake (top), Connor and Bea (middle), and Crimson and Starwick (bottom). While Crimson and Starwick have not been formerly introduced yet, I still wanted to work on a better idea on how they looked.
I'm also taking a bit of a break from working on this blog. Not a long one, but I want to focus on my main blog for a little bit. Do some drawings that aren't tied to the idea of getting nonexistent asks. This also means I get to work on some rewrites for this next bit.
This break won't be long, I hope.
It ends in quiet. It ends in the soft, slightly strained breathing of a tired individual. Hopefully when he and his friend wake up, it'll be a better day of solving mysteries and living life.
