It was such a lovely day. Harry spoiled you for your anniversary so badly. He started off serving you breakfast in bed, followed by a private massage downtown, and he bought you the most gorgeous diamond earrings. You're both walking hand in hand back to the flat after an extravagant dinner.
"So, how did you enjoy your day Katie?" Harry asks, smiling down at you because he already knows the answer.
"Harry, I can't thank you enough, it was the best day I've ever had. I don't know how I can top this for your birthday now."
"Babe, being with you is the best and only birthday present I could ever want." He stops in the middle of the sidewalk and pulls you close. As you look up into his green eyes you can physically see the love he has.
"God, I love you so much Harry, I can't put it into words, you have made this last year the best year of my life and I can't thank you enough." You barely get that out before his lips come crashing down on yours. It's a sweet, soft, and slow kiss. One that if full of love, and in that moment you know that Harry will cherish you forever.
"Okay, well the night isn't over yet, let's get back to the flat because I have one more surprise." He winks as he grabs your hand pulling you down the sidewalk.
The minute you enter the flat you are immediately bombarded by a yellow ball of fur. Looking to Harry with a questioning look you say:
"What in the world is this?"
"Well, I got you a puppy because I know you've been wanting one since you've moved in with me. I thought this would be the perfect time to give it to you." He looks down at you a little sheepishly hoping he made the right decision.
"Harry, babe, I love it!" You kneel down to pet the playful little thing.
"She, not named yet, thought I would save that for you." He kneels down next to you and the puppy jumps into his arms immediately.
"I like the name Maggie." You smile at him cuddling the dog close.
"Maggie it is then." He leans into give you a quick peck on the lips.
The two of you spend the rest of the night playing with your adorable little baby.
