LOW TRAP PRESSES! This is one of my favorite drills for shoulder health and performance. In particular, it will improve all exercises that require an overhead arms position. The low traps do the exact opposite function of your more powerful upper traps- they pull your shoulder blades down. If this muscle isn't strong or active enough you'll be prone to shrugging and impinging your shoulders. I like sets of 1-2 minute work periods for these. The key is to keep your arms aligned with your head and spine throughout the drill. If you're doing it right, your posterior shoulders and upper/mid back should be lit 🔥! Use this as a starter or a filler or plug it into a shoulder circuit. I'm using the @crossoversymmetry system with door straps for those interested. #TheDailyBJ #Shoulders #ShoulderHealth #LowTrap #LowTraps #ScapJacked #BJGaddour #ShoulderExercises
