my favourite fanfic trope is actually when the main couple is fighting and one of them chooses to go to a bar and get wasted and the bartender is super chill and lets them vent and then cuts them off and takes their phone and calls their s/o and they have to come pick them up and even tho they were pissed before now theyre super worried and they go home together like that and it really helps the process of them making up and out
