for disability pride month: an uncommon physical aspect of autism that you may have (because I have it and didn’t realize until recently)
low or no sense of proprioception, aka the ability to to have a sense of body position, force, and movement. it can show up as-
not knowing where your limbs are without looking at them
being unaware of involuntary movements (I didn’t realize I physically stimmed until people started mentioning it to me)
having a poor sense of balance
difficulty controlling how soft/hard you hit
having a hard time with physically complex tasks
textbook clumsiness
slow reflexes (could also be a processing issue, I have both)
being unaware of your posture until it’s mentioned
having difficulty with uneven surfaces
issues specifically when walking up or down stairs
not being able to walk in a straight line or having difficulty balancing on small areas
