Ugh so I have a snake, ball python named Kickstand, and he's giving me problems shedding ): I saw the picture of Kagura and it made me think of my baby boy. He hasn't grown much and doesn't each much but the let store told me I need to keep him physically hydrated to help him she's. I'm scared he might die
Ok so, how old is he? In terms of them not eating much, Ball/Royal Pythons are notoriously picky eaters, ours still gives us trouble. How and what are you feeding him? Talk me through what you do and I can give some suggestions based on that.
Also, temperatures are very important for a snake to eat. If their temperatures aren't correct they won't be able to digest their food and it can put them off. It can also cause issues with shedding. Does he always have a supply of fresh drinking water, and are you misting the tank every day or so? When its dry its much harder for them to shed. Our largest snake, Yuki, the burmese often has issues with it so when he goes into blue we provide him with a huge tub of water. He goes in and soaks himself for a while until hes ready to shed and it helps a lot.:)
