She always takes the relationship to the next level. We started out just kicking in it, then it was “we not dating but I better be the only one,” then it was “we are definitely there,” and its “i love you.” 

once i figured out that she sees something in me that she doesn’t see in anyone else occupying her time. She sees something in me she wants to bring out but the fact that is not who i want to be in this present time i shy away from the things that push me in that direction.

This  “I love you” stage has become difficult because we have diffeernt lves for  eachother. Myself has love for this girl hasn’t fully defined while she is on her way to being inlove with me. Since I haven’t defined what it is that i love about her i feel as if i have no reson to be inlove with her, until then i will just hve love for her   

this hit a little closer to home than i'd like...

Similar to Iñárritu’s latest award winning film “Birdman”, Love’s a Bitch is an incredibly symbolic and somewhat complex film when thoroughly analyzed. It’s called the “Mexican Pulp Fiction” for a reason, and it’s that all three stories featured in the film are connected with one event, a car crash. The first story presents us with Octavio (Gael García Bernal), living with his mother, brother, and sister in law in Mexico City’s slums and how he starts making money through dog fighting. The second story features Daniel (Alvaro Guerrero), a businessman who leaves his wife for a Spaniard model named Valeria, and the hardships of their relationship. Finally, the third story is about a hobo named “El Chivo” (Emilio Echevarría); his story is the more unique of the three, it’s hard to explain without spoiling the movie, but, let’s just say he is a very silent character at first, but plays a very important part in the film’s ending and symbolism. 

This is one of the most HUMAN films I’ve seen until now. It presents so many themes having to do with human loyalty, greed, vengeance, friendship, and evil. One of the major symbols to look out for in the movie is dogs, which are always present in the film and represent loyalty. Now, don’t think this film is about dogs, please, Iñárritu just uses them to portray a theme. Apart from loyalty, the film also deals with a sort of renaissance or “cleansing of the soul”, which is made clearly visible with the film’s ending, which I think is really good. 

Visually, the film is very gritty. It features a lot of explicit scenes of dogfighting, among other things, which makes it even more intense, deep, and enjoyable (at least for me). This movie also shows Iñárritu’s ability to film and direct action sequences; the movie is not an action film, but it does include a fast paced car chase, which should have been rather difficult to accomplish. 

Love’s a Bitch is certainly a film that is incredible, especially for the spectators looking for something more in depth and meaningful than other films. 

Verdict: It’s a very good film.
