It was just the two of them now.

Eleven was gone, to where no one knew, certainly not them. They'd been tucked away in the lab, hidden away while everything had been going haywire, and now they saw Dr Owens far more often than Papa. It made things a little more relaxed now, Ten had to admit, but it still felt very strange. It just made the lab, and the rainbow room, seem even bigger. Not to mention the amount of guards and orderlys seemed to have doubled, which he thought was a little strange.

“  I’m  fine,  ”  he  assured.  Because  Eddie  detested  showing  weakness,  or  vulnerability.  Even  if  he  could  trust  her,  he couldn’t  help  it.  This  was  something  which  was  wired  into  his  brain  since  he  was  a  child.  But  he  wasn’t  well  now,  no  - one  particular  fight  (  which,  unfortunately,  for  him,  Eddie  practically  lost  -  given  he  can’t  fight,  &  how  physically  weak  he  was. )  “  I’ll  be...  I’ll  be  okay  -  you  don’t  have  to  worry.  ”

he’s a mess. bloody and bruised, clearly malnourished, almost always soaking wet. they'd put sprinklers in his room that'd go off every couple of hours, leaving him freezing and weak. weak enough that he doesn’t fight back when they beat him, weak enough that when they actually try to do experiments he'll just do what they say. he's trying to be strong, tries not to scream when they beat him so that travis wouldn't worry, but he's still just a kid. and what he's going through is torturous.

Gyles enjoyed his so called free time. Free in the sense he didn’t have to deal with Gideon in his head, telling him what to do, stifling him to death like he always does— no, here at the start of dusk, the sun starting to set on a bustling town and pave way to the darkness of the night, he feels right at home.

A lamplight turns on, the sudden intrusion of light causing him to growl deep within his chest— it’s pulled with a mighty grunt from the street, debris crumbling around him and wires snapping and making the bulb grow dark once more. 

He snickers to himself, pleased with his first act of destruction for the night before a sound of hurried steps makes him turn, still holding the lamp pole threateningly— Just a woman. Small, feeble thing.

“ BRUCE WAYNE is CEO, billionaire, philanthropist. Batman is the one who will make you stay in the cave to go through 6 months of security backlogs instead of fighting grunts. Any more questions? “

    "I know... I guess I had some-- a lot of time to think about it.” Kharon sighs, moving to rub his hand over the back of his neck. His eyes falling to the ground, allowing his shaggy black curls to obscure his face partly, “... that maybe, I was wrong?” His voice is small, unsure as he continues worry seeping into his chest.

He walked with a swagger as he approached Amelia, his large metal hammer rested on his shoulder. “Its not often i get visitors all the way up here.” He chimed in as he stopped just feet away from her. “Especially a fucking outsider! Miranda must not know you’re here. That wont last very long.” A chuckle left his lips as he looked her over. “So who are you anyways? You can call me Heisenberg. Tell me though, how did you get past my lycans? Dumb fucks need some more training apparently.” He barked loudly so they would hear him in the distance. He flopped down in a wooden chair and rested the hammer against the desk and off came his sunglasses. “Spit out your answers, come on now.”
