Another love rant because I love ppl I am filled with deep deepest love for people
On the topic of "who has to do what in a relationship"
Before imagining a relationship, have you stopped to imagine yourself love?
Excluding any other variable. Just love. Have you imagined the feeling of love you might feel for someone?
Have you imagined what would you do, think, and feel in love?
Have you imagined the ecstasy of thinking of that one and only beloved person, mere name of whom makes you feel warm? Have you imagined feeling good? Feeling good not because you have received anything of benefit, but solely out of the feeling of fulfilment?
Have you imagined what you'd say, what you'd do, what you'd be willing to feel just for the good sake of that. particular. person? Their smile? Their wellbeing?
Have you wished that everything ever would be perfect in the life of your beloved, even if they go on living without you? If they don't reciprocate?
Have you imagined that love? Have you knew it? Have you understood it?
And now that you have imagined yourself the beautiful, warm love that is your love. Can you now imagine not only loving like this, but being loved back the same? That someone feels as warm about you as you of them.
Now, are the strategies necessary? The worry? In the knowledge that you, in your love, would fully listen and accept anything your beloved has to say or ask for, any boundaries or wishes they may have. Knowing that they love you with the same love you imagined, meaning hearing you out the same way you would hear them. Wouldn't you also not have any fear expressing your feelings and wishes.
And wouldn't your dual love let you come together in the middle. Not because you've fought for it, but because you both are equally wishing each others happiness?
Love is a beautiful thing. One which I have come to adore. Love, even.
You don't build relationships for the sake of relationships.
You love for the sake of loving.
