‘is it just me or is the entire dark academia movement a little scary? i mean, it’s not like i judge anyone who studies history or literature, after all they are bolder than me to aim for something that interests them but i find the whole vibe a little troublesome,’ jojo whispered, voice low as he leaned over to the other, gaze avoiding the group of students who came in, dressed all in the aesthetic. ‘then, i watched this very well done video about the topic the other day, maybe i’m just a little prejudiced because of that. if i think back, i looked like i did not get a night of sleep when i was a student. seriously, i think all of those tv shows where people go to study in yale would hate me for ruining their backgrounds. i had this one guy once asked me if i sneaked in because i must have looked all out of place!’ it was a little embarrassing but he faced guilt for being judging towards the newly arrivers.

'i told them i am not interested, what else would i have said? it was a well-paid job but i am not really keen on moving across the country for it. this could be the moment where you tell me how relieved you are and that you are glad to see my handsome face still once a week,’ ven was not known to show humor and whenever he did it, then it served a change of topic. everyone thought he was mad for refusing to design the newest campaign for a famous brand but there was too much that kept him here, memories, the comfortable life he established and certain people. 

‘well, you called for a cab and here i am,’ he got out of the car and stretched. ‘ending up being stuck in the middle of the night sounds like something that would only happen to you. i will pretend as you called me of all people because you know i’m working at night most of the time.’ he loved the silence of the night, fixing cars in the dead silence of the garage just with low music in the background as his company. ‘don’t worry, i won’t ask what happened. you can name any location and i shall drop you off there. the only payment i ask of you is to buy me a coffee over there. yes, grocery store coffee machines suck but it’s cheap and i just need something to stay awake. let’s go.’

˚ ༘♡ ·˚ ₊˚ˑ༄ؘ          “ honestly ... if you think that it’s good for you then you should go for the blind date . but if you think that you’re not interested then ... maybe you should just skip it . ” and what if they fall in love on that single date ? would he be able to live with the fact that the person he has feelings for is in love with someone else ? light presses his lips into a thin line , “ do you think ... you’d want to go ? ”    @lovenders​

˚ ༘♡ ·˚ ₊˚ˑ༄ؘ        dalbit wonders how she’s lucky enough to be with someone who is understanding of her work like miles — it’s mostly because their interests are similar and everything’s going perfectly well so far ... until she hears the news of one of her artists breaking up due to work . entering the studio , she sighs softly at the sight of miles and she offers a tight smile as she sits next to him . “ did you hear ? robert and kimmy broke up and it’s all over the news ... she said that they had to because they don’t see eye to eye anymore . ” she takes in a deep breath , “ i hope we don’t get to that point one day ... i think it’ll be stressful . ”  @lovenders​

˚ ༘♡ ·˚ ₊˚ˑ༄ؘ        “ you know , i always wondered what it’s like to have a restart on everything . ” he hums , watching the other do his thing , admiring the way zuko’s consistent in his work . “ imagine not being able to remember anything from your past ... and literally going ahead with whatever the future holds . ” he chews on his bottom lip , resting his head against his arm as his mind drifts off . “ if you were given a chance to do that ... would you ? to start over ? ”  @lovenders​

˚ ༘♡ ·˚ ₊˚ˑ༄ؘ        “ i was wondering when you’ll be back , ” taeil sets aside the bunch of papers that he’d been marking since the late afternoon , turning off the table lamp before he walks out of the dimmed room . “ did you have a long day today ? i made us dinner but kept it in the fridge because i wasn’t sure what time you’ll be home ... i’ll go heat it up ? ” he asks , a small smile on his lips as he makes his way to the kitchen so that he could grab the plate of cold marina pasta , something that he’d learnt off youtube . he heats up the food and turns to look at daisy , “ tell me about your day ? ”     @lovenders​
