Here’s some logic for you to think on... . God is love. God dwells within us. Therefore, we are love. . Simple, yes? But many of us don’t live in love. We criticize those who don’t live like us. Instead of congratulating someone’s success or blessings, we let petty jealousy poison our thoughts of them and question why they have it and we don’t. And when someone fails, we laugh and point out their failures over and over again. . And then we look at the world and wonder why it looks so bleak and hopeless and full of hate. . Here’s the bottom line: the world is simply a reflection of the people in it. If it’s going to change, the people in it have to change first. . WE HAVE TO CHANGE. . So let your next thought be with love, just like that of our Maker. . That person whose lifestyle you don’t approve of? Love them anyway. Say hello or just give a simple wave. If God loves them, it should be shown in you as well. Then they may eventually look upon you as an example. Will they change? Maybe. Maybe not. It doesn’t matter. That’s God’s work, not ours. . That person who got the job they always wanted or the position you thought was yours? Celebrate with them anyway. Be genuine. Your turn will come. This isn’t a race. All of us should be looking for everyone to succeed. . That person who messed up in their life and has fallen? Extend a hand. Help them up. Pat them on the back. Let them know that this is only temporary and that things will get better. And then let that failure stay in the past. . It’s easy to hate. It’s easy to envy. It’s easy to criticize. But guess what? It’s also easy to love. . Hate never endures.
