Love Deserves

Now I know I am the one I wished I were years ago. You, who are my her just like me, same body, same soul. Because within the heart is a rainbow of words and useless lies not to die, and oh how many tears for a love that deep within holds no blame.

Nobody deserves  to hate themselves because they can’t accept themselves. To the world, it thinks she’s different; just a kiss and it gets embarrassed and then it condemns a caress because it believes in an illness, a dirty fantasy, what since forever has always been just my story.

Now I know how to grow up, to choose. I choose myself, I choose us. It won’t be easy to live, but it will be a sky without numbs because freedom can’t cost me my silence. I’ll shout my secret to the world, those who love will understand that love has no gender and won’t pay any price.

Love deserves to love how and when it wants despite the words and the people who look at us, and always more bastard talks but says nothing, and hears but doesn’t understand, and thinks if in the end it’s just a lie, the story is only mine.

It won’t just be a flag to bring the color, to tell about another freedom that dies, because love doesn’t want law nor demands, because calling us loves is a glowing condemnation. There’s no shame in this crazy love, it will be a rainbow that writes a song, because those who judge tremble and those who love always win.
