Β«Huh? What the...?Β» As she brings her hand closer, Ayato notices something shining in her palm. A tiny, red, round earring. The one he usually wears on his left earlobe ( although he sometimes likes to switch it up, and wear it on his right instead ). He presses his fingers to his left ear to feel its presence, and... Indeed. It is gone. It is rare for him to lose his things ( the ones he cherishes, at least ), but, alas, one often fails to predict these types of events.
Β«That hasnβt happened before... Maybe I dropped it when I was playinβ Basketball?Β» It had been a rough game, after all. His opponents were fast, but not as fast as him. Thus, it would not be impossible to hypothesize that the earring had fallen during one of his sprints.Β
Hm. Many questions to be thought about, and a thanks still missing. Ayato does not usually show gratitude towards people, but he is relieved that she has brought his earring back to him, even though he is not particularly vocal about it.
Β«Were you watching the game or just passinβ by?Β» He retrieves the earring from her, placing it where it rightfully belongs.
