21: What I love most about myself

I think I can be pretty patient and understanding in most circumstances. Which is a good thing in retail; I can definitely get overwhelmed and frustrated, but I try to put myself in other's shoes and understand that sometimes a customer just needs a little extra help with something or they've made an honest mistake.

The moment they get snippy or demanding though, all that benefit of the doubt goes out the window. The only thing I ask is to be treated with the same understanding and respect I give to others, and if they can't reciprocate I'm not gonna lift a finger to help them out.

33: What words make me feel the best about myself

To be honest... I'm not really sure? It's rare when I find a "meaningful quote" that actually speaks to me, because I feel like most of them are just surface level things that are relatable to everyone.

I guess if you're talking about something like compliments, literally anything lol. A little girl called me pretty at work a couple weeks ago and it made my entire day. Another girl complimented my earrings last year and I still remember it. One of my professors from college who I looked up to left a comment on an essay of mine saying it was "extremely well-written" and I still have a copy of it somewhere lol. So I guess what makes me feel the best are ones that are specific or unexpected.

39: My favorite ice cream flavor

Probably either Chocolate or Cookies 'n Cream. Chocolate fudge brownie is also pretty high up there.

My family and friends. You guys keep me going, and there's nothing better than having a good conversations with the people you care about. ❤

Writing, my beloved and beloathed. Sometimes it's a pain in the butt, but when it's good and the words are flowing it's the best feeling in the world. There's nothing else quite like it.

My part time kitty. I love getting to see her when she visits and hearing her little meows. It's been really special getting to see her get more and more comfortable

Chocolate. Chocolate definitely makes me happy lol

My blorbos. I think about them probably more than what's considered sane or healthy, but if that's wrong then I don't want to be right.

2. What fanfic do you wish you got more response on?

Hmm, is it bad if I say the one I'm working on right now?

I can't be too upset. I have received some lovely comments already (including a couple over on FFN today!) and I know the Powerpuff Girls fandom doesn't have a lot of traffic these days, but I guess since the story has been in my head for so long and it's the thing I feel the most passionate about at the moment, I really want someone to share that excitement with.

With most of my Transformers fics specifically though, the response has been above and beyond my wildest dreams. I still can't believe so many people liked "Cut My Noose, and I'll Cut Yours" (and I do hope to go back to it someday!) or that the lovely @gilraina did a podfic for the SkyStar oneshot I posted on Valentine's Day. I never thought anything I wrote would inspire someone else like that.

3. What’s a fic idea that you have but haven’t written yet?

Okay, so I actually do have one in my head that I haven't gotten to yet bc I'm in the middle of writing two others. I can't go into much detail because when I get to it I might publish it anonymously. But basically, it's a Breaking Bad "fix it fic" where no one dies, done in the worst, most chaotic way possible.

14. Have you ever co-written a fic?

No, but I'd love to! It's something I've been wanting to do for a while. Writing can be a pretty lonely hobby sometimes, and it would be great to have someone to share a project with.

2: What scene did you first put down?

99% of the time I write in chronological order, so I just started right from the beginning. Starscream/Knock Out was my first Transformers ship and I really wanted to see a future where Starscream joined the Autobots like him and they were able to reconcile their differences. I asked myself what would need to happen in order for Starscream to get back to the Autobots, and just went from there.

7: Where did the title come from?

I came up with the title while listening to The Cave by Mumford and Sons!

Specifically, the line "And I won't let you choke/On the noose around your neck" spoke to me because they both have a bit of a self-destructive nature and aren't in the best mental headspace after all the *gestures wildly* everything. But together they're able to make the other's life a bit less lonely and miserable.

with Knockout, Starscream, and Chromedome

Slow burn: Okay, I'm gonna have to pick Domey for this one. Partially because he'd be the best boyfriend out of all of these and also because I'd never want to be enemies with him. But I think the slow burn aspect might be kind of difficult because he comes across as the type of person who falls very fast and very hard.

Fake date: I went back and forth, but I'll go with Starscream for this. As pretty as he is he'd probably be the worst to actually date, but I could see him really getting into pretending and pulling out all the stops. It would be fun
