If I was asked if Louis de Pointe du Lac was my main squeeze in a room full of people I'm supposed to be in charge of and He loudly said No while I said Yes, I'd kill everyone in the room and then myself

A grim day for those we called lovers

Your take on how Armand became boring is spot on imo. And that's also why I think Daniel is better for Armand (not saying that it is healthy or whatever that's not the point) because he seems to be more his (bad) self probably because Daniel likes that when he tries to model himself to Louis wants. But Louis is dishonnest about what he truly wants (Lestat and his not boring at all self) so it clashes.
Yes . These people can't stay in a relationship with someone for too long because it gets random and boring for them for awhile especially when you're immortal and live forever . That's why they need someone who balances them someone who completes them . Someone who is the opposite of them .
And in my opinion even in Dubai Daniel is still like that . He can balance Armand out . Armand is seeing Old Daniel getting more fascinating day by day even though it is destroying his marriage with Louis . But it's not gonna be boring anymore . Both Louis and Armand need to end this pathetic superficial happy marriage because the reality is something else . The reality is they both are tired of each other and it only surfaces out again when Louis remembers again . Even Armand is tired of this marriage . He's just holding it together because he thinks Louis will kill himself again and Louis will leave him alone and he wouldn't have anyone .
And for Louis , everytime he hears something triggering and loving and emotional about Lestat he falls in deep into it again , he tries so hard not to cry or lose his act and not attack someone . ( Same with Claudia ) . Lestat's name is 24/7 on Louis mind and if I want to be honest his heart still is with Lestat too . He needs him back even now . He needs Lestat's love not Armand's . Because Lestat made him feel completely different from Armand . That's the tragedy of Louis and Armand's relationship that they both pretending Lestat wasn't important and isn't important but they're just kidding themselves . Lestat is forever apart of both Louie and Lestat . But Lestat's love for Louis is much more than what he ever felt for Armand . And that's one of the reason Armand couldn't tell Louis the " I love you " Lestat told him to tell Louie . 😭 They need their own match . And unfortunately they are not matched to be each other's forever companions . Maybe for decades or a century but they're not forever bound to each other . And after years they will find each other boring again .
The more I look at the 90s Louis in San Francisco the more I realize he's not seeing Lestat anymore . He's not being haunted right ? But he wants to remember him so bad again ???? Is that why Armand kept repeating " Lestat Lestat Lestat " annoyingly ? Because he thinks all Louis wants is to remember more about Lestat or revive his good memories of him ? What if that's what Louis had been searching for & wanting the second interview for too ? What if Armand told Louis Lestat is dead in the fire after he tells him he couldn't save Claudia ? What he tell Louis about he deliberately let Lestat burn there because Claudia was his fault ?
I don't know if you have already answered this but at this point in the show, how do you think the season will end for each main character?
I think Louis will leave Armand angry at him and he no longer wants his companionship . Armand will probably still being questioned by Daniel . Daniel probably remembering more about his life after the 70s . Some of the things both Louie and Daniel will remember will break them both . Louis will go killer mood on Daniel again just like San Francisco but Armand saves him again and that probably will raise a question that why is he saving him again ? Which be a reveal to Armand and Daniel having more history in the past .
Louis will leave Dubai . Probably he goes back to New Orleans because once again Armand has told him that Lestat is there and he has been waiting for him for years and he didn't tell Louis that . He will also tell Louis that he made up a lot of stuff about Lestat so that he still doesn't go back to him .
I had a theory that Lestat will probably reject Louis because Armand made him believe Louis died in Paris but after Ep 5 Lestat knows Louis is alive and is with Armand so the possibility of that is now lower . But Armand could still lead Lestat think Louis injured himself and burnt himself and didn't survive the fire letting him think he died in the 70s . with that in mind if Lestat still believes Louis is dead it's possible the rejection still happens . Because Lestat thinks he's hallucinating Louis . But looking back at how he called for Louis I really hope my theory doesn't happen . I deeply hope they don't get sperated again . They can't survive being without each other . It would make them both suicidal in different ways .
I hope that answers your question because it's all I can theorize. 💗

I'm sorry but when Jacob says Armand is more gentle in a relationship I assume he means more gentle than Lestat & I don't know how to feel about that . Because Lestat had gentle moment with Louis too a lot of them . YES Lestat definitely had cruel moments with Louis too but so did Louis . Louis treated Lestat ungentle too . They were BOTH ungentle and gentle sometimes . So Does Jacob means that Armand and Louis doesn't have any fights or arguments EVER ???? Is that what being gentle means ?
