the iwtv fandom truly hates discussion of interpretation if you fall into the wrong set of blogs. also there are very obviously racial dynamics it won’t hurt you to discuss them.
and furthermore if you truly just don’t wanna go there not even trying to be antagonistic which in some cases i definitely would be. just go I Don’t want to engage in that. maybe i’ll judge you for it but i can keep it to myself and it betters everyone else’s ability to discuss the text without people who truly don’t want to engage in those readings.
because otherwise there’s people who do not want to acknowledge race and how it plays a role in iwtv and they’re arguing against every reading because they simply just don’t want to engage. don’t engage then just don’t read it or interact.
sometimes texting my friends about interview with the vampire feels like i’m writing out a crochet tutorial. oh so TVL and TVC and iwtv oh and also ldpdl and qotd also there’s DM plus all the ship names. there’s so many abbreviations in this fandom. which is beautiful it’s a beautiful thing but some of the words sound crazy if you don’t know what it is. danloumand unfortunately sounds like a brutal french dish where you’ve gotta shove butter up the anus of a duck or something
