It's alive! My wave field synthesis wireless control system is up and running. A previous masters student had designed the WFS setup a few years ago and my addition is a wireless control for the virtual source positioning. With my defense tomorrow, I guess I was cutting things a little close by finally running the whole system together today. I found a small bug, in how I was controlling source coordinates, but after fixing that, everything seems to be good.
Currently I'm only using the accelerator in combination with gravity to control things. As the board is tilted in different directions, the acceleration experienced due to gravity changes for each of the axes. I then scale the amount of displacement for the coordinates based on the amount of measured gravity from -9.8 to +9.8, 0 when the axis is perpendicular to the directional force of gravity. I added a window filter as well, to smooth out some of the magnified noise.
