more for the brookestone family
Y'know how Cole is notorious for being bad at cooking, with nothing in the kitchen surviving his attempts? (Except for the Violet Berry Soup back in Season 1, which Lloyd ruined)
Well, there is one thing he can cook.
A recipe for a cake his father and his mother made together, which his father had taught him to make.
It's for a red velvet cake with little homemade chocolate edible flowers, with notes from both parents on the page, nothing was typed, all written.
Some of the notes are just Lilly and Lou being flirty with each other, and others are correcting misspellings and implementing bits of morse code here and there (which is something Lilly learned from her father).
Wanna know something else?
Cole lost the recipe.
Vintage = Lou x Sensei Wu
Name such because they're both old, and they both give that vibe.
More of Cole’s mama and Baby Cole.
More Cole's mom headcannons (I think I shall call her crystal for the time being because coal is a rock and crystal is a rock)Â
-Cole likes cake so much because his mom baked the most wonderful cakes ever and eating it reminds him of her (On a yummy note: before he was born, Lou had eaten one of her whole cakes and she made fun of him for it for years) (he was not fortunate enough to inherit her cooking skills as he inherited her powers but he does it ANYWAY)Â
-Speaking of cooking, she was a GREAT cook. She wanted to seem more feminine and more suitable as a wife so she took up cooking to balance out the earth. (unfortunately due to society's views on women she couldn't eating as nearly as much as cooking but she got to embrace it just before and after cole was born because you have to make sure the baby is fed okay gotta be a good influence)Â
-Wu and Garmadon had told all their lil masters about the golden weapons and the dragons protecting them and Crystal wanted to protect Cole from learning about his heritage too early on so she told him scary stories about dragons to keep him from going anywhere near them (Lou was not happy about this because he didn't know about the weapons or the other masters at the time either so it just seemed like she was scaring him for no good reason)Â
-Before she and Lou started dating, she was terrible at flirting okay. Once she tried to toss him an apple with a sticky note on it and she gave him a concussion in the process.
giving lou some love, a ninjago hc
Somewhere in his house, Lou keeps a vase of lilies.
that's it, that's the hc

Blacksmith = Lou x Ray
Named as such because while Ray is a blacksmith in the literal sense, Lou is part of a singing troupe dubbed “The Royal Blacksmiths”.
I like making headcannons about the previous elemental masters.
This one is my take on Cole’s mom. Maybe she was actually really insecure about her power since most girls can’t lift ten tons above their heads, but then she saved Lou from getting hit by a boulder or something (who clearly likes a strong woman) and a beautiful relationship blossomed. (you know, until she died)
Maybe she liked watching him dance but couldn’t do it herself which is why he joined the Royal Blacksmiths and tried to get Cole to dance as well since he knew it made her happy (but she wasn’t as happy to see their son being forced into something he didn’t enjoy)
(Also her, as a ghost, watching her son become a ninja and sees he’s inherited her abilities and being a proud mama)
