new neighbours at my parents house were setting off fireworks for like half an hour straight tonight lol

we had a theory practice day in my music course

and this dude that i call drumkit guy (because he is always there unless the actual percussionists who know what they're doing shoo him back over to snare drum exile, and i don't know his actual name) for some fucking reason decides this is his cue to be EVEN MORE LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS THAN USUAL

like normally loud and obnoxious is some banging around, randomly whacking the gong, annoying but whatever

but TODAY

here i was, peacefully MINDING MY OWN DAMN BUSINESS IN THE FRONT ROW, DOING THE THEORY PACKET WE WERE ASSIGNED BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING

and THIS GUY

starts BANGING AROUND

so i whip out my 3M earplugs and bone induction headphones. turn music on. continue to mind my own business and NOT BE A FUCKING NUISANCE TO THE REST OF THE CLASS. AHEM.

AND THIS BITCH GETS LOUDER. SO MUCH SO THAT I CAN HEAR HIS FUCKING OFF-BEAT SMASHING AROUND THROUGH CONSTRUCTION GRADE EARPLUGS AND MAX VOLUME MUSIC.

I GOT NOTHING DONE.
