@lotuscinders ♡'d for a starter!
magenta eyes assessed the road before her with curiosity, one hand placed on drolta's hip as her head tilted. she understood machines fairly well, had heard the rumors of the fantastic devices that dracula and his ilk had apparently flaunted. but she'd never particularly cared about them; they would be no help in her plan to resurrect her goddess, and therefore were useless to her. regardless, however, they were very much in front of her now. or at least, that's all she could assume that these horseless carriages were. either that, or some kind of magic, but that seemed unlikely at best.
but if drolta were to stay in this place for any length of time ( a loathsome thought, but she'd gotten this far in life by considering all angles ) she would have to at least know the basics. so she turned, gaze falling on the first person behind her and a hand reaching out to grab their wrist.
❝ What, ❞ she turned back to stare at the machines again, an eyebrow raising in a clear demand for answers, ❝ are those? ❞
