SPOTTED: Scholarship kids turned besties. Perhaps it's time for the Seven Samurais to draw their swords. Because Zee's got claws, and little miss Rao does Kalari on the side. (Which, yes, means she's good with her hands. Take that as you will.)
"Actually, that's exactly what I'm planning on becoming!" Udyati beams at Zoya. "Right now, I'm writing this story about a group of Indian demigods and they're taping their whole quest. Except their camera is fricked up. Which means that I have to figure out how to write just audio and scenes without audio. I don't quite know how to translate that to text, but I'm working on it. And I'm writing it in the 'you' point of view too, which is fun. Challenging, but fun."
She gives Zoya the gentlest of nudges and a warm smile. "By the way, did you go to that thing after school? That rally thing? I forgot what it's named. But, um, how'd it go?"
