I pronounce it like the "English ch" sometimes and I know my family does so too. I'm from the South West and now I'm living in NRW. I thiiink people here do it as well. I'll try to listen to it next time I hear someone saying "manchmal". :)

i have no idea! would be interesting to find out! i struggle eating american chocolate stuff, i hate the taste. it taste so fake and once i had mnms and they tasted ashey. blegh no thanks, its like we dont have things like kool aid so when my step dad went to america and brought some back we were excited to try it, ew nup. too sweet, no real flavor. ill stick to my aussie cordial!
