“Back in my day we were powerful, we had to be to clean up the remnants of the Sith Empire out in the Rim, but we weren’t… this. We were there but we weren’t imposing.” Orion said putting a hand on the transparisteel of the viewport and feeling the coolness of the void.
“At least I don’t think we were. I never really paid much attention to external politics, I was always more worried about looking good in the practice cages. Are those still there?”
The far corner of her white lips tilts up ever so slightly, “No, not cages so much anymore. Mostly we have a large open space indoors, and the courtyard outside serves as training and social grounds.”
“It is... difficult to see when you’re this involved. One planet asked us for help, and one turned into a hundred. Now we are spread thin, and not everyone is pleased.”
