NEITHER HAVE BEEN AROUND LONG, meaning most places were, well, new for them. it had been mizi's idea to come to the city of glass with sua, especially with all the festivities going on. even if she felt like she didn't deserve this second chance, it was better to preoccupy her mind rather than just sit brooding in her room 一 in the end, would she feel more guilt if she watched sua disappear again after abandoning her to her lonesome in this world, let alone the selfishness of wanting to be near her.

fingers lace with sua's, taking note of a sign as they had been walking along one of the paths. ❝ Peculiar... petting zoo? It can't be so peculiar as some of the segyein we've seen, ❞ she muses, giving a curious tug upon sua's arm as if to guide her gently towards the myriad of animals. many looked foreign, some others reminiscent to photos she'd seen in books. a couple creatures come up to them both, sniffing around as if in search of food, causing mizi to blink down at them with a squeeze of sua's hand.

❝ Do you think any of them are dangerous? ❞

Since Sua had actually shown up, it was probably safe to assume that she felt somewhat of the same, at the very least. "Let's hope that we can both find something that we like," smiled Kokomi, who now moves to open the door to the bookshop, further leading her companion inside. "Do you read much?"

A new arrival caught her eye. She'd seen this woman at Starberry once. They hadn't talked then, but this was the perfect opportunity to start!

With a sunny smile, he waved her over, encouraging her to begin (or at least observe) at the same table. His outfit had already been trimmed, given a side slit and dyed mostly light purple, but there was still much to be done!

"Huh?" He looks up at her, eyebrows raised. Of all people to say that to him, Sua was toward the bottom of the list. Although, in an odd way, she's the most familiar now, given what happened to the two of their odd little pack that outlived them.

"What, are you gonna give me one?" He teases, expecting a no. They're both complicated people, with complicated histories. Just because they both died, didn't mean all was forgiven.

Ah, really, he didn't think he let his mask slip. Of course Sua caught it.
