The car had come too quickly, she tried to scream, to tell him to stop, but the man stepped out in the road before she could, the car colliding with him as soon as he did.

The ringing of sirens was the next sound she heard, snapping her out of her thoughts, two policemen stepped out of a car, she recongized one, and knew there was no escaping this she stood up whimpering as hot tears stung her face.
"This is all my fault." She told Noah with a cracked voice, 'Im sorry."
