        ❝Vroom vroom. Get out me car. Aw.❞                 It made his children laugh, so he didn't mind how                 much of a fool he looked in front of his wife and                 two five-year-olds. After all, the beer in his hand                  is just completing the image.

                This isn't the first time he's relapsed. But this is the                 first time he's gotten himself into a bad fight. A bad                 split lip, blood pouring from his mouth, a huge gash                  on his cheek. The drugs are just numbing him to                  the pain.

        ❝I can't hear you.❞                         He thinks it's funny because he's deaf.

        ❝I'm sorry, did you say         summat, love?❞

        ❝Oi, mate, got a light?❞

        He fixes his hearing aid, then flashes a smile to the other. ❝Ready. Go on.❞

        Maybe he can get drunk enough to forget that his brother hit him.

        ❝Unless you plan on touchin' it, don't look at m'bulge.❞
