Rhett is very tempted to take the easiest solution, hand over the baby, Julie, to the hands of a very competent nurse, Tara Alzate. But from the first time he hugged Julie, Rhett knew his heart had been tied to this little baby. He must file a custody for his biological baby. . Tara and Rhett have known each other since they were children. They are like cats and dogs, especially Rhett has slept with her sister. They were forced to become "family" because Tara's sister married Rhett's brother. So, why can't Tara refuse the charm of this swagger cowboy? Tara instead provided a solution for both of them, marriage in convenience, but how was the arrangement? Is it fair for both of them who have no match at all, except that they both want to raise Julie's baby? . I like the plot and trope of this story, the theme "the enemy become the lover", and the author explicitly describes all the differences in their natures, their characters which is like water and oil, like an earth to the sky. I like the sarcasm they throw to each other. But I am also touched in their honest and very mature confessions. . Even though at the climax of story, it is almost made me had "heart-attacked", but the author is indeed great at making the moment as a reflection of each other's self, to not be selfish to each other. In essence, their relationship with each other changes them in a positive and optimistic direction. I want to read other books in this series, because it is very worth reading.
