I was just thinking All the best poems have come from broken hearts But your heart only breaks if your real love leaves

Or if someone you think is your real love leaves

But then it’s not real And it’s not broken Is the world’s best poetry in fact a fiction? Real love is forever.

Hmmm.

It has no expiration date It doesn’t vein or go away It’s there Always and forever Maybe it’s just that not everyone finds it…

Perhaps I’ve never had real love then after all, because it has always faded away.

See, the thing is, love is the strongest bond between two people Whether it’s platonic, romantic, erotic or whatever Love is love. And real love just happens but it stays Not like a crush, for 4 months Something lifelong and strong Where you lose yourself and find yourself at the same time Giving you strength but making you weak at the same time Mending you and breaking you down just the same Giving you the inspiration to write poetry but simultaneously taking speech from you It is the most complicated and the simplest thing out there It’s the safest thing in the world, investing your heart and life into your Love, but it is also the most dangerous thing, giving something as fragile to someone
