can you tell i’m not having luck with writers block LMAO i dont think ive written more than 300 words today, but i did this so thats something!!!

i also did another for just dating rodrick in general if you’d like to see that too! (here)

-lets you listen to his band’s demos early, but only if you promise not to judge

-shows you new drum beats before the band when he’s unsure of himself (surprisingly a lot of the time)

-gets shy when you genuinely like his music

-taps whatever song is on the radio’s rhythm on your thigh when he’s driving, but doesn’t even realize he’s doing it

-will drum with chopsticks at a restaurant (and laugh when you tell him to stop because people are staring because “they’re witnessing a master at work”)

-you can tell what mood he’s in based off his drumming — softer is calmer, louder and faster is stressed.

-always looks extremely concentrated when he’s drumming, but he’s secretly watching your reactions out of the corner of his eye

-when he does lock in — you could have a full conversation with him and he wouldn’t hear a word, apologizing profusely when he realized he missed what you said

-would never admit it to his friends/bandmates, but he performs better when you’re at their shows
