Drew this poster of the Dark Matter Trilogy in the Kirby series.

Dark Rimuri was pleasantly enjoying a slice of cantaloupe inside of their barren apartment, resting from a long day of calculation and surveying. The lights were dimmed, a few rays of sunlight shining through the open kitchen window.

"Many greetings, my child."

Rimuri was startled by the sudden decision of their Lord speaking to them in their mind. Zero really had a knack for catching them off-guard, especially when they're not working at the current moment. Even in their sleep.

"M-My Lord! Greetings! You have startled me-, my presentation isn't due for another three days!"

"That is true, Dark Rimuri, that is true. This is not about your presentation, however. I have been doing some research, into the holidays celebrated by the mortals on Popstar."

"... The holidays?" Rimuri didn't understand. They knew of the holidays, but only saw them as a hindrance. There were so many small children running around in scary masks, with all sorts of sugars and stuff already, they had to be careful not to get too close.

"Yes, there is a holiday at this specific date, isn't there? 'Hall-oo-ween?' Is that what they call it?"

"Yes, my Lord, however I don't understand-,"

"They dress their children in costumes, correct? Then the children pretend to be the scary things?"

"Y-yes, my Lord, what are you... Implying...?"

About four Dark Matter had flown in through Rimuri's window, carrying an unwanted overripe pumpkin and some carving tools.

"My precious Dark Rimuri, please get inside the pumpkin."

"... Oh no..."
