I don't get people who call Loosesheet (Paper x Looseleaf/EP) selfcest. Alters aren't different versions of their host, they're their own people. Paper and Looseleaf are two different people regardless if they look similar or not and this is coming from someone who IS a system. 💔

gen question...why do u hate loosesheet?
Honestly? I have a few reasons. I hc Paper as achillian and Looseleaf as a trans fem lesbian, so I don’t ship em together. I didn’t see any romantic subtext in the new remastered episode, and they don’t make much sense to me as a couple (hypocritical seeing as I like rarepairs, ik). I also ship both of them with other people when each is fronting, and I see them purely as a system. Not that I have anything against those who do ship it, but I wish there were other ships appearing on my page rather than loosesheet. However, I do agree with those saying it’s not selfcest or papercest, bc they’re COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!
If you do ship it, that’s entirely fine by me and I couldn’t care less. However, I don’t like when I see them together, majority of comments are saying “YURI” or “SELFCEST”. Despite not everyone viewing them like that, there is some people both on here and Pinterest that act like this with them and I feel like it dumbs down their characters, and even though not everyone perceives them as simply headmates, I do and don’t really like em together.
Also I’m especially against the lesbian x a man trope, and seeing as I view both as in love with their own gender, I’m just not a fan. Ty for asking !
