THE CHILD WHO WAS MADE WITH HIS BLOOD.          the child who was conceived with the mind melder's dna, the one who is genetically closest to him. he was xerxes, and among the three children, he was the one who had truly set his heart on his father's cause.

in the public's eye, he was known as the eighth member of the protectors, but he revealed himself to be a mole for the mind melder and betrayed the team. his betrayal caused the fall of the original fortitude hall.

following the death of the mind melder, his location has been unknown. his powers have made it even harder to locate him.

THE CHILD WHO WAS MADE WITH HIS BRAIN.          the child who was not conceived but was created from the experimentation on a young boy. at a young age, it was obvious to the mind melder that the boy possessed high intellect and great psionic abilities. and unlike most of his subjects, who were tortured and forcefully experimented on, the boy was instead nurtured. he was called the heron, and when he grew into a young man, he was the most successful experiment the mind melder ever made.

but even though he was also indoctrinated into the ideals of tantalus, the fact that he was nothing but an experiment to his 'father' has never left him. he was just as trapped as everyone else under the mind melder, and escaping his grasp has also become his goal.

after the death of the mind melder, he surrendered himself to the remaining members of the original protectors. understanding that he is also a victim, agetor vouched for him and he was rehabilitated. he is now the head of the lazarus front.

THE CHILD WHO WAS MADE WITH HIS HANDS.          the last child of the mind melder was a tragic case. made not with his own dna, nor with a human that has the superhuman gene, the last child was made using an embryo selected specifically for this experiment. his genetic code was edited and spliced with the best it could withstand, and he was artificially induced with the superhuman gene. what was created was supposedly a marvel of science, but cursed with a short life outside of the tubes and wires he was in.

the last child was called pandora, and though he never lived outside of the cryonic vat that he was made in, his brain was still used by the mind melder as a beacon to find other superhumans around the world.

after the death of the mind melder, the only evidence of pandora's existence was the vat and the dead body that lay within it. he was pronounced as dead... but the heron knows that his brother won't just die like that. he is still out there... he just doesn't know how or where.
