I don't know why but Im just a fan of those slow, long, drawn out hitches. 🤤 I'm talkin' bout the ones that are so soft and long that it leaves them in a daze and it feels as if time is going in slow motion. You don't understand me, I'm saying the itch is so weak that its been dormant and that they didn't know it was there until they breathe in a little heavier than usual to either sigh or smell something, or just a little sniffle and each time they breathe in after that, it slowly makes the itch stronger and stronger.
And then that face they make when they're trying to determine whether they actually have to sneeze or not. The crease in their curious brow, the light and occasional tremble of their nostrils, the slight haziness in their eyes as they lose focus on what's happening in front of them. The slow progression of their facials gradually turning into an intense grimace. 😚 (At this point, if they're in the middle of a conversation, they had already told them to wait a moment, with their finger up in pause, and the other person is just patiently and awkwardly waiting in silence.) A thousand bonus points if they forcefully stop their entranced hitches to frustratedly rub at their nose, as if doing so would speed up the process, but it doesn't 🤣 And like, you can just hear their sniffling gradually becoming wetter and more apparent from their nostrils just drooling over the constant irritant. A million bonus points if the build up is really drawn out and they finally get to the climax, only for it to be a let down and vanish into dormancy again 🙌 (I'd actually die if like, when the itch "leaves" them for the moment and they resume what their doing, the itch just abruptly comes back saying "SURPRISE MOTHER FU--" And just forces them to lurch forwards with an uncovered, definitely messy but satisfying sneeze. Or they could have a huge fit of sneezes, its your call. 🤤)
Here's a short piece of what I mean xD I'll let Draco take it from here... Don't mind me, its not like I'm using this as an excuse to make Draco suffer or anything... 😁
Draco had been riding his new motorcycle around town for hours on end every day since he got it. It was hard for Reuben to keep him in the house for two minutes! He had only had the thing for a week and he was practically glued to the damn thing. He felt like a free spirit in the wind and this motorcycle was one of the best things he had ever gotten in his life. He had to admit, Reuben did his thing with this Christmas gift. Well yeah, it was still freezing outside and he was still trying to recover from his cold, but he just felt the need to drive this bad boy around! It was such a joyous experience to drive and to hear the engine purr. He knew this thing wasn't cheap.
"If you're gonna drive that thing around all day, you're gonna have to go out and get a job to pay for all that gas money, Draco."
He irritably sighs, annoyed with hearing Reubens voice in his head again. He couldn't be too mad though. It was a small price to pay if it meant that he could be a road dog. The rugged man pulls into the icy parking lot of a gas station and removes his helmet. His first thought was to work at a bar so he could sneak drinks in here and there but Reuben already knew and wouldn't allow it, so this was his next best thing. Maybe I can get a discount on gas and smokes if I work here, he thinks to himself on a lighter note.
He ties his helmet onto the handlebars of his hot ride and sniffles a bit, feeling the cold air making his recovering sinuses leak. His breath stutters a bit at the newly discovered tingle making itself known deeply at the back of his left nostril. He takes in a deep, long and slow inhale, feeling the tingle vibrate against the roof of his nostril as he breathes in through his nose.
"Haaahh...??"
He quickly opens his mouth, expecting to sneeze as the tickle had erupted like a wildfire, but as soon as he hitched through his mouth, the need to sneeze had died down again. He curses, instantly bringing an aggravated knuckle up to rub on the underside of his runny nose. He snuffles a hand full of times as he enters the gas station, feeling his eyes threatening to tear up from the evasive tickle.
"Hey there bud! What can I do for ya?" The cashier greeted him from behind the counter as he aggressively walked into the store, tipping his red hat in greeting as he approached the counter.
"I'm looking for a job, and I saw a sign that said you were hiring..." He immediately sniffles again, irritated with his indecisive nose and feeling the same lurking tickle trying to resurface again.
"Oh, no worries! As long as you do-"
"H-Ha'g odh... I... Huuuhh... I gotta... Huuuuhh..." The rugged man interrupts the cashier as he trails off, getting lost in his own turmoil. His head gradually tilts up towards the ceiling as he feels his eyes begin to gloss from the weak, yet intense burn from the pestering tickle. He sniffles a few times, hoping to move the tickle around a little but he cringes when it feels like he was brushing the inside of nostrils with a paintbrush each time.
"HH-HEH--...!!" His eyes slam shut and his shoulders rise with anticipation as his body forces him to take in an obviously irritated and abrupt hitch, but he freezes, waiting and wondering where all of the intense burn went once he was actually ready to sneeze. It was like he was on a roller coaster and had been slowly getting to the top of a steep hill and once he finally reached the top, the ride broke down and stopped working. An angry sigh is released as he angrily rubs at his nose with his bandaged arm.
"Agaid? Are you fucki'g kiddi'g be!" Hes able to congestedly mutter as he rubbed his nose again. He hated this stage of getting over a cold.
"I was just going to say that as long as you fill out this form, you can bring it to a manager for review." The cashier says, handing him the application. "It usually only takes three to-"
"HH'TDZZSSsch'ugHHh!!!" Draco tries to quickly turn to the side as his body reflexively jerks forward from the force of the well overdue sneeze, but he isn't fast enough to even think about covering as his sneezes sprays the counter and the tile flooring. "H-HUH... HG'TDZSSCh!!" He's able to duck into the crook of his elbow for the second wet and forceful sneeze, earning a surprised and shocked look from the cashier. He sets the application down on the counter and immediately begins disinfecting it as Draco has turned into a sniffly mess.
"Bless you, sir." The cashier says, handing him a pack of tissues out of his pocket. He accepts them and grabs the application before immediately exiting the store and heading home, thinking that maybe he shouldn't be out in the cold for so long while he's still recovering from a cold.
