Velvet Rêverie Chaise Longue
One of the items that attracted me to the Secret Sanctuary kit was this big chaise longue (A.K.A. "Chaise Lounge", "Chaise Long", "Daybed?", "Sofa", "Couch"???). But, it has two problems for me: the blankets that drape on the chaise are not available for all colours, so if you want a different coloured blanket, you'd have to settle for a different coloured chaise. The other was that the legs were not very antique/vintage looking enough.
I LOVE velvet, so I always try get the velvet texture, but it's so hard to get it right - so forgive me in advance if it's not realistic enough!!!
So, I got two main velvet textures and produced a few different colours; I liberated the blankets so that they work on every chaise colour; and, I added beautiful wood cabriole legs. As a little bonus, I also added tassels to the round cushion at the end!
We have six different velvet colours, and nine different blanket colours each - a total of 54 swatches. I tried to give these all a nice lush texture; and hopefully shine that reminds you of real velvet.
Look at me getting slightly better at stuff!
