Longo's Chili Garlic Shrimp Stir-fry
Need something quick on a Monday night? Make a pit-stop at Longo's on your way to the subway station to head home for the evening. On Mondays after 4pm, Longo brand stir-fry ready-made meals are $6.99 (regular price $9.99) - serves 2. I picked up the Chili Garlic Shrimp. There were at least 20 shrimps (decent size and yes, I counted them!), spinach, carrots, red peppers with vietnamese rice noodles. Just stir-fry it up in a big wok. Portion size = definitely enough for 2. Flavouring = flavourful, but maybe it tries a little too hard, a little less chili spice and lime juice, maybe. Overall, this meal was quick (10 minutes), simple, pretty tasty, and easy on the wallet.

I bought these last night, and they are seriously tasty things. My boyfriend and I could have eaten the whole box. It's like taking a huge bite of cookie dough. Hopefully anyone outside of Canada can find a worthy substitute.
