Grand Chase for Kakao Post CBT
Grand Chase for Kakao definitely surprised me and a lot of other people that played it. The game was very different from GCM is a good way and had lots of content that made it stand out. To begin with, let’s look at our two new characters.
Kyle acts as one of our main protagonists in the main story mode and is one of our first characters. He wields a Greatsword and his moves involves lifting enemies and area attacks.
Cindy is the other protagonist in the main story and the second starting character. She specializes fire magic and her moves are an area nuke and a pushing fireball.
One of the things that GCK has is a chibi styled sprites like the original game. The player can upgrade and ascend their characters to different forms. At higher forms, their sprites and costumes change completely, but their portraits do not change for the non GC characters.
Their outfits changed a lot from their default portraits, but these are their final ascended forms. (Like a 4th job)
Last main thing is the main menu area. The portrait is your leader characters with the sprites in the back. The other 2 characters here are other characters that are draw able in the gacha but are not in the original Grand Chase.
Lastly, one of the biggest things in GCK is the new portraits and outfits for the original GC characters. Although Elesis was seen in the trailer, she was not available in the game. (It’ll be a spoiler if I say why, so we’ll wait for OBT for details.
The Grand Chase characters have their default forms then ascend into these newer forms. Lire, Amy, and Rufus(Lupus) were all revealed to be the next characters added in the future. (Maybe OBT soon?)
Overall, I’d say that GCK was a very fun game. Gameplay is not automatic like GCM and is fairly difficult if you aren’t paying attention. I’m happy to answer any questions regarding aspects of CBT, but I do not know any dates for the next testing period. I look forward to the future of GCK and will be updating here for more results.
