I got a request to use guitar, which is an instrument that I don't use often, and it gave me a nudge out of my usual comfort zone and turned out to be sort of its own inspiration in a way. I really like fingerstyle guitar, so I'm glad I got a chance to incorporate a little bit of that flavor into this piece.

for whatever reason the official soundtrack versions of some of the songs in this game are completely different from the ones that actually play in the game itself, so i’ve been putting together my own versions of some of them from the files these past couple days. here’s one of my attempts
