I guess the bigger question that I was getting at, is what is Emmanuel's last name? If he actually has married her, he would have to have a legal last name for the forms. Hell, you have to have proof of identity (social security number, driver's license, etc) which in the US government is extremely difficult to obtain if you have absolutely no starting point for proof of who you are. They don't like assigning new social security numbers because of clerical and immigration issues. I guess anything is possible, but not within 6 months or so. I just read a real life story of a man who has been unidentified for that last 8 years and still has no social security card, even though they've been trying.
