This could not possibly be right. Ā Heās heard mention of The Institute from the Jewells before but this⦠maybe wasnāt so far off. Ā Their personalities would have made a lot more sense if they indulged in what these rules were talking about. Ā All they talked about was the good times theyād had here, specifically how it was a sanctuary for supernaturals. Ā That bit still felt a little new to him, only being around himself and witches for however many years, but he fit the bill. Ā Broke and super, in need. Ā Seeing a passerby that looked at the least, a little approachable, he did so, tugging at his new leather jewelry.
āExcuse me, I need to find the headmaster immediately,ā he growled, continuing to yank on the collar wrapped around his throat - itās like it was getting tighter by the minute. Ā āClearly thereās been some sort of mistake, here. Ā This canāt possibly beā¦ā Ā He trailed off as he saw other passerbys, some with collars, realizing that a good half of the people were in skimpy bathing suits. Ā āWhat in godās name is this placeā¦ā
Cherry stopped as the young man came up to her, wide eyed at being approached suddenly before she relaxed more, seeing the collar around his neck. However her look turned sympathetic, the more he spoke, the obvious contrary approach. Not unlike her own. With much less tears when she first arrived, though. Now she knew what everyone who tried to comfort her was fighting again, the obvious obligation and helplessness. And she was not good at comforting others, though not for lack of trying.
āIām sorry, hun...ā Cherry gave a small shrug, adjusting her grip on her shoulder back awkwardly. She wore a bright yellow bikini with white stars, her long blonde hair pulled up in a messy bun scattered by the beach breeze.
āItās not a mistake and... Itās gonna be hard. But thereās good things, too. My nameās Cherry. Iāll... Why donāt we go to the cafe? Get a milkshake and a minute to talk?ā She had a Western, not quite Mid, accent and was obviously trying to do her best by the new person, without too much unwanted enthusiasm.
