Day two we did some more touristy things, taking advantage of the hop on hop off tourist buses, as well as a walk past Buckingham Palace around the time of the changing of the guard, where the crowds were rather large. A day full of highlights, including catching up with Jess, a friend from IBM days, and attending Evensong at Westminster Abbey. We woke up early and went to breakfast which had so much food such as eggs, beans and toast (Nutella was an option) and boarded a coach to go on a tour around London where we saw many different sites and had an amazingly funny tour guide. We learned that in Uni they don’t share dorms and take smaller course loads. After the tour we were dropped off right by Buckingham Palace where we witnessed the changing of the guards. We then walked to near the London Eye to get lunch which was a gourmet hot dog. We had amazing views from the London Eye and then walked to the boat tour which we found out had more than just tea and crumpets but sandwiches etc. We had an ice cream cone before the boat ride because it was hot and we waited a while. When on the boat tour we were able to go up top and got amazing pictures of us and the Tower Bridge. After the boat tour we quickly went to Wesfminister Abbey. Note: we did NOT eat dinner ha 😆 We then basically did the quickest quick change ever for the bar crawl. We left at 7:25 and didn’t get to the meeting spot in Leischer Square until 8:10, used the fast lane in the tube. We had the best time at clubs Zoo Tiger Tiger and received a t shirt, glow necklace and all of the bars had 1 free shot and drink specials. We had an amazing experience and even rode the night bus to get back to the hotel quicker
