Leo x Alex = Aleo? Leex?
LEEX LOL
i've been having some real trouble with using stable, smooth lines. I've tried the stabilizer and it still looks bumpy. I was wondering how you do your lines? (Also this is on a normal paint tool sai layer, not a linework layer...) thank you!
That’s a hard question because I just trace on the sketch like everyone else does, those tips I made in the video are just what help me do it more easy and smoothly. I guess what really matters here is the amount of practicing? I used to have ugly and jagged linework but then I saw neat art from other artists and told myself to try until I got it right (I’m still trying though).Â
Maybe you should put the tablet aside for a while and do some traditional inking; trust me, that is the best way to work your hands, although digital still does, traditional is something you should stick to if you want precise inking. Because it doesn’t give you a second chance, you have no ‘undo’ or ‘redo’ button so it makes you become determined when moving your pen. So, if a long period of inking on computer doesn’t seem to work, why not switching to a completely different medium?Â
Hear me out and do 1-2 inking per days, you will see the difference ^^ Also, relax your wrist, bumpy lines come from a stressful wrist more than a weak pen grip and please don’t push yourself too hard, you need to be patient when it comes to inking :) Good luck.Â
